Charles C. Morrow, 74, of Wadsworth passed, Friday, September 16, 2016 at Hospice of Medina, 10 days after being diagnosed with AML. He was born December 7, 1941 in Zanesville, Oh to the late Elmer and Lulu (Proudfit) Morow. He attended a one room schoolhouse in Boden and Hopewell/Indian Camp and later graduated from Cambridge High School in 1958. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1965. On February 12, 1966 he married Jean M. Swingle at Stovertown Lutheran Church. Mr. Morrow was employed by Bob Evans Farms in sales in the Akron and Cleveland Area and received the Silver Stetson Award in 1973, Landmark/Remark foods in Reno, OH, Walmart in Marietta, OH and was a driver for Marhofer Auto Family in the Akron area. He was a member of Granger United Methodist Church and a former member of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church in Ellet and Sand Hill United Methodist Church in Reno, OH.
He was preceded in death by his son Douglas Alan Morrow, brother David Lowell Morrow, infant sister Shirley, infant brother Lewis, his grandparents, sister-in-law Betty Lou LePage and nephew Randy Morrow.
Chuck is survived by his wife Jean, daughter Kim (Nick) Karakis, three granddaughters; Madison, Micah and Macy Karakis, his sister Carol (Jim) Marshall, sisters-in-law Phyllis (Steve) McElhaney, Barbara Morrow Anderson, brother-in-law Kenneth LePage and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends 4-8 pm Tuesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Funeral services will be conducted 11 am Wednesday at Granger United Methodist Church, 1235 Granger Rd., Medina with Rev. Matthew Wald officiating.
Graveside service with Military honors will be held 11 am Thursday at Eastlawn Memorial Parkin Marietta, OH.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to, Granger United Methodist Church, Hospice of Medina or two charities that Chuck faithfully supported; Haven of Rest or Barberton Area Communities Ministries.
