Grace Elizabeth Morton (nee Blough) after 94 years left this earth on Mar. 12, 2019 in Akron, OH. Born Dec. 18, 1924 in Wadsworth. She was a proud graduate of Idabelle Firestone School of Nursing, then worked as a Registered Nurse in private practice for 51 years and enjoyed a very rewarding career. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Uniontown, and was an independent woman who was actively involved in her community. She was preceded in death by her sister Mary. Grace is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill “Mort” Morton, who she married on Dec. 21, 1958, one son; Bill (Connie) Morton, two grandchildren; Sabrina and Chester, one niece; Kay McLane and one nephew; David Urban. She will missed by many. Chapel Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Fri, Mar. 22, 2019 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth, with Pastor Jeff Nelson officiating. Friends are invited to join the family for food and fellowship immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Church of Christ, 13275 Cleveland Ave. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685.
