Harold E. “Nick” Nicodemus, 96, of Wadsworth passed away March 8, 2012. Born in Wadsworth on July 18, 1915 to the late Oscar and Lucy Nicodemus.

Nick will always be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He never met a stranger and was known for his laughter. He was a member of First Christian Church. Nick enjoyed playing cards. He loved hunting, fishing and camping and was a member of the Wadsworth Hunt Club. Nick was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ashland and was a resident of Wadsworth Pointe.

Preceded in death by his siblings Opal, Hazel, Cloma, Ethel, Evelyn, Park, Farland, and Carroll.

Survived by his special long time friend Lois McDermott and his family Rex and Peggy, Ronnie and Chris, Roger and Geri Nicodemus, Gerry and Ted Morring, Jim and Sandy McDermott, Mary Jo (Jody) Adams, Larry and Luana McDermott, sister June Davis, 17 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all.

A graveside service will be held on March 20, 2012 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth, OH at 1:00 PM with Reverend Nancy Dunn officiating.
