David “Skinny” O’Connor, 53, of Wadsworth, passed away on December 25, 2022. He was born in Wadsworth on January 28, 1969 to Michael and Frances O’Connor.

David enjoyed football and baseball, especially cheering on the Steelers and the Cleveland Indians. He also enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing, and watching Hallmark Christmas movies.

David played and lettered in football and baseball in high school. He also coached little league baseball, wrestling, and peewee football. After high school, he enjoyed playing league softball. He was a long time member of the Wadsworth Eagles and the Wadsworth American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael O’Connor; brother, Mike O’Connor, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

David is survived by mother, Fran O’Connor; his fiance, Ingrid “Ing” McCaman; children, William (Hayley) O’Connor, Devanne (Brad) O’Connor; step-daughters, Sandy Huff, Miranda (Matt) Rhodes; grandchildren, Damien, Hunter, Aleigha, Wesley and Adelynn; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and a nephew.

The family will receive friends from 2-5pm on Saturday, January 7 at the Wadsworth Eagles, 9953 Rittman Rd, Wadsworth, OH 44281.
