Frances M. O’Connor, age 80 of Wadsworth died Monday, April 22, 2024.
Born May 10, 1943, to the late Joseph and Lucille Logar, Fran was a lifelong resident of Wadsworth. After completing high school in 1961, she discovered her love for style, and became a hairdresser. She married the love her of life, Michael, on September 14, 1963, and found her true calling when starting a family. She had many passions in life, from cooking, dancing, Hallmark movies, and decorating for holiday parties, but she was most passionate about spending time with her family and friends. You could always count on Fran to be a generous and helping hand to anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael, after 45 years of marriage, beloved sons, Mike, and Dave; sisters Mary Erb and Agnes Mills. She is survived by grandchildren Cory, Alicia, Brianna, Will and Devanne; 3 great grandchildren; daughters-in-law Teri and Mia; sister Margie Young and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Fran’s infectious energy for life was abundant as she could light up any room she was in, and she will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
The family would like to express gratitude to The Inn at Whitewood Village and Crossroads Hospice for the care given to Fran.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 29 from 2-4pm at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. in Wadsworth. Funeral service will be follow at 4pm with Pastor Adam Marquette officiating.
