Dorothy A. Olson, 86, of Wadsworth passed away suddenly January 29, 2010 at her home. Born July 3, 1923 to the late David and Margaret (McMurtrie) Dee in Pittsburg, PA.
She was a member of Wadsworth United Methodist Church, belonged to DBE Group, was an art teacher in the Brunswick Schools for 20 years, and enjoyed painting, and shared many of her paintings with family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Glenn Olson, son Jeffrey Olson, daughter Beverly Olson, and brother David Dee.
Mrs. Olson is survived by her son Eric of Wadsworth and brother Leonard and wife Pauline of Pittsburg, PA, and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Sunday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home-174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth., where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday with Rev. Jim Winkler officiating. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park.
