SFC Roger (Butch) Oplinger passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was retired from the U.S. Military and was the former Marketing Director of Sea World. Butch leaves behind his wife Marilyn of 56 years, sons Bob (Traci)Oplinger, Tom (Lisa) Oplinger and daughter Jenni Oplinger, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted 1pm Saturday at First Christian Church, 116 E. Boyer St. with Karen Rule officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12noon – 1pm at the church.
