Catherine Pall (Firis), 94, of Wadsworth, passed away Sept. 30, 2010. She was born Oct. 20, 1915 in Crucible, PA to the late Mike and Mary Firis.
Catherine was raised on a farm next to the Rittman Orchard. She loved the farm and shared her fond memories of the farm by telling stories to others. She was a very hard worker, and hung wall paper for many years. Catherine’s first car was a Model T Ford that she was very proud of.
She married Alex Pall in 1958 and they settled down on Remsen Rd in Medina County where they always had a large garden and a swimming pool that the entire family enjoyed.
In 1976 Catherine retired. She and Alex traveled and resided in many places such as Deming, New Mexico and Murray, Kentucky. They eventually came back to Ohio and made Norton their home.
Preceded in death by her husband Alex, her son Alex Pall Jr., 7 brothers and 2 sisters.
Catherine is survived by sons Fred (Liz) Pall, Danny (Laura) Pall, daughter Helen Denham, brother John Firis, sister Eileen Prince and , 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and Landon, her great great grandson.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home 175 North Lyman St. Wadsworth, where service will be conducted at 12 noon with Reverend Mike Shaub officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery
