Denzil “Shorty/Gene” Parker, 82 of Wadsworth passed away July 14, 2016. Born August 24, 1933 in Centerville, Ohio to the late Fred and Mary Parker.

Denzil served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing in Canada. He and his wife Stella would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on October 20, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his son Tim Parker and siblings; Inez Gatten, Charles Parker and Dorothy Kinney.

Denzil is survived by his wife Stella, children Fred (Mickey) Parker and Teresa (Richard) Crowther. Grandchildren Meghan and Lauren Parker.

The Family will receive friends 4-6pm Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth Ohio. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 6pm with Rev. Heather Wicks officiating. Inurnment will take place in WoodLawn Cemetery at a later date.
