Richard Allen Parsons, 89, of Sharon Township, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023. He was born June 21, 1933 in Bangor, Maine to the late Augustus and Lettie Parsons.

Mr. Parsons was a veteran of the US Army and was retired from Ohio Edison as a High Line Construction Forman after 42 years of service. He was a member of the Ohio Edison Men’s Club and a lifetime member of the Medina Eagles.

Dick is survived by his wife, Barbara, with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage; sons, Richard Jr. (Mary Jean) and Donald and daughters, Debra and Dianne (Danny): 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and sister, Carolyn.

Private services were held for the family.
