Ellen Pate, 78, formerly of Wadsworth more recently of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017. She was born April 15, 1939 in Wadsworth to the late Lee and Florence Wohlford. Mrs. Pate was a graduate of Wadsworth High School Class of 1958 and was a former member of Wadsworth United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry on July 7, 2004 and her granddaughter Devin Pate.

Ellen is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law John and Bobbi Pate of Myrtle Beach, SC and Tim and Anna Pate of San Antonio, TX, her grandchildren: Eric Pate, Jennifer Ivey, Nicholas Pate, Kathleen Collins, Brandon Girard, great-grandchildren: Brayden Brickhouse, Jaxon Ivey. Levi Pate, Brayden Batteen and Eleanor Collins. She is also survived by her sisters Marjorie ( Gary) Easterday and Dorothy Arvey all of Wadsworth along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friend 5-8 pm Monday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11am.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
