Eric Vincent Pearce, 29, of Wadsworth, passed unexpectedly away Sunday, July 24, 2016. He was born August 7, 1986 in Wadsworth.

He attended Wadsworth High School, was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post #170, enjoyed fishing, camping, golf, NHRA Drag Racing and motorcycles. One month ago Eric became a hero when he saved two people from drowning at Summit Lake.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Bernard J. Pearce, grandparents Robert and Mary Robinson, cousin William Unlandand and special friend Sayward Everson.

Eric is survived by his mother and step-father Beverly and Steve Still, father and step-mother Vincent and Lorrie Pearce, siblings; Jamie Pearce (Miah Perry), Stephanie Morgan (Mark), Stephen Dowdy Jr. (Tanya Shrout), Shawn Still and his grandmother Lois M. Pearce.

There are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved him very much along with work family at Granite Luxuries in Medina where he worked for 4 years.

The family will receive friends 4-8pm Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 10am Friday with Pastor L. Robin Hart officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
