Together Again

Leroy Pelot, 79, of Wadsworth, passed away Sunday June 12, 2016. He was born May 22, 1937 in Bath, OH to the late Merle and Thelma Pelot. Mr. Pelot was a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired form Iron Workers Local #17 after 33 years of service. He enjoyed NASCAR and loved his dogs: Snowball, Jake, Duke and his current dog Rocky.

Leroy is now together again with his wife and the love of his life Shirley and one sister Shirley Coughlin.

He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law Jeff and Becky Pelot of Rittman, Gregory and Sheila Pelot of Guilford Twp. and Scott and Lynn Pelot of Norton. Leroy is also survived by his grandchildren: Shirley, Trisha, Ashley, Brittany, Brandon, Amber, Tommy and Josh and his siblings: brothers Harry (Bernyce) Pelot of North Ridgeville and David (Barbara) Pelot of Chagrin Falls; sisters Kathleen Pelot of North Ridgeville, Betty Study of Brunswick, Doris Bright of Port Richey, FL, Patsy Williamson of New Port Richey, FL, Barbara (David) Fulcher of Sebastian, FL, and Anita (Joseph) Gyurko of Middleburg Heights.

The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8pm Wednesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 11am Thursday with Pastor Jim Newton officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
