Jeannette E. Perry, born July 26, 1934 in Ashland, Ohio passed away peacefully at Barberton Hospital July 20, 2012 surrounded by her children. She resided in Wadsworth for 48 years.
Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents Art and Helen Schaefer; her loving husband of 51 years, Tony Perry; her son, Anthony Perry and granddaughter, Sarah Kelly.
Jeannette is survived by her sons: Timothy (Connie) Perry, Mark Perry, and daughters Pamela (Dan) Handshue, Judy (Gary) Wheeland and Michelle (Royce) Wilson: grandchildren Stephanie (Joe) Codorniz, Tim and Vincent Perry, Jeremy and Danielle Perry, Shawn, Alicia, Shane and Shaina Wheeland, Kayla (Dan) Villers, Nate, Matt, and Jessica Handshue. She was blessed with two great-grandchildren Brianna Villers and Xavier Codorniz. Jeannette also leaves her brothers Jud (Barb) Schaefer, Jerry (Esther) Schaefer, and sister, Jackie Devcic.

Jeannette was happy being a mother and homemaker for many years raising her six children. Her love for them was unconditional. She always had a bright smile and a loving kiss for each one of them. The trips she and Tony took to Italy, Las Vegas, Bermuda and Hawaii were wonderful times that she talked about often, but the family vacations to White Birch Lodge every summer were unforgettable. Jeannette was also a member of the Moose Lodge.
She will be loved, missed and remembered for her feisty, honest and down to earth personality. The family would like to thank the staff and especially the nurses in ICU and 4 South at Barberton Citizen Hospital for their gentle and loving care, along with her forever faithful friend, Lil Buccitelli.
As Jeannette wished, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends 4:30PM to 6:00PM on Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, OH where a memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM with Deacon Roger Klaas officiating. Inurnment will take place Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family requests donations be made to Interval Brotherhood Home or to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
