Dorothy J. Poder, 88, died January 6, 2014. She was born September 10, 1925 to the late Russell and Lucy Stough.

Dorothy was a devoted wife, a good woman and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and taking care of others.

Preceded in death by her son Thomas, she is survived by her husband of 69 years, Charles; nieces Jeri Stevenson, Lori Dickson, Jennie (Shaun) Bach; great-nephews Jonathan Klemm and Rusty Dickson; sister-in-law Sunny (Don) Reynolds; special friend Armond LaCayo and a host of other relatives and friends.

Deacon Roger Klaas will conduct funeral service Friday at 10:30 AM at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street in Wadsworth, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Doylestown Health Care Center, Values Committee or Activities Fund, 95 Black Drive, Doylestown, OH 44230.
