Charles F. Poder, 92 a life long resident of Wadsworth passed away September 15, 2014. He was born July 21, 1922 to the late Carl and Lena Poder.
Charles proudly served as a medic in the US Army during WWII in the South Pacific.
He was a member of Scared Heart Catholic Church and the Wadsworth American Legion Post #170. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He retired from the Ohio Injector Company after many years of service.
Preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Dorothy J. Poder and son Tom Poder. Siblings Helen Angst, Mary Mong, Irene Weber and Louie Poder.
He is survived by his sister in law, Sunny (Don) Stough-Reynolds and host of other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends Thursday 4-7 pm and Friday morning 30 minutes prior to the Funeral Service that will be conducted 10 am with Deacon Roger Klaas officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
