Zenzi Poe, 88, of Wadsworth passed away Monday, August 21, 2017. She was born June 13, 1929 in Stuttgart Germany to the late George and Maria Mairle.

Mrs. Poe was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a former employee of KinderCare and Buehler’s Grocery Store. She enjoyed bowling, playing canasta Bridge and BINGO. Nothing brought her more joy than her family especially her great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters Marianne and Liesel.

Zenzi is survived by her husband William “Bill” Poe with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage, daughter and son in law, Chris and Steven Shriver, grandsons; Derrick (Rebecca) Shriver and Bryan (Tiffany) Shriver all of Wadsworth along with her beloved great grandchildren William, Mason and Sydney.

The family will receive friends 6-8pm Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. where funeral services will be conducted at 11:30am Friday.

Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Memorials donations may be made to the Wadsworth American Legion Post 170, 129 Main St. Wadsworth, OH 44281.
