Bobbie F. Potts
With one foot already in heaven, God called Bobbie Fouche Potts to take the final step to join Him in peace and love. As a member of the Greatest Generation, Bob devoted his entire hard working life to caring for and helping family and friends as well as perfect strangers. He was a veteran of WW II, retired superintendent of Wadsworth Brick and Tile, and a member of Sacred Heart Church where he had been a founding member of Legion of Mary. Although he belonged to few organizations, there are many, many who knew of and benefited from his mantra “What can I do to help?” That’s the way he lived his life to the end. He was preceded in death by his son, Ken (Debbie) Potts, and his sister, Virginia Raymer. He leaves a wife of 66 years, Lois I (Bresson) Potts, a sister, Sandra (Richard) Maxwell, daughters, Connie Morgan, and Betsy (Dennis) Conley; 4 grandchildren, Mary (Jeremy) Smith, Bobbie (Matt) Gray, Brendan Morgan and Kristen (Brian) Ruffing;
4 great grandchildren, Adam, Ashton, Coen and Josie. The world was a wonderful place for all of us with his loving care and guidance.
Bobbie spent 6 months in the tender, watchful, loving care of Hospice of Medina County. The family can’t ever express enough gratitude.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Interment was in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
