Ruth Ellen Ramsay, 78 of Wadsworth, Ohio passed away April 27, 2016. Born May 31, 1937 in Key Ridge, Bellaire, Ohio to the late Raymond and Mary Elizabeth Ramsay.

Ruth was a member of the Wadsworth United Methodist Church for over 46 years. Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother and homemaker. She was very active in her church, she enjoyed her Boston Terrier dogs and she truly enjoyed caring for others (both young and old) in both an official and unofficial capacity.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years Glen Harold (Buck) Ramsay, sons David Edgar Ramsay and Steven Ray (Christine Marie) Ramsay; grandchildren, Zachary Noah, Gavon Nicholas, Morgan Glen and Jacob Connor; sisters Lois Feiber, Eleanor Bumgardner and Mary ( Babe) Marinelli and many loved nieces, nephews and friends.

Family will receive family and friends 4-7pm Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman Street, Wadsworth, Ohio. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11am Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Wadsworth United Methodist Church 195 Broad St. Wadsworth Ohio. Interment to follow at OhioWestern Reserve National Cemetery at 12:45pm.
