Doris J. Reichardt, 88, died December 22, 2014. She was born June 26, 1926 in Auburn, Indiana to the late Morris and Bernice Howey.
Doris was a graduate nurse from Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She met Hank in 1951 and began a long and adventurous married life, a career as a registered nurse and mother. She enjoyed gardening and reading. She was a devout Lutheran and with Hank they raised their children to follow the Christian life. She enjoyed camping and traveling in their Motor Home throughout the country with her husband and family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by 3 brothers and one sister, she is survived by her husband of 63 years, Henry; son Henry “Gus” (Becky) Reichardt, III of Texas; daughters Jan Marie (Greg) Kreider of Seville and Karen Ann (Don) Nelson of Missouri; grandchildren Adam, Jacob, Peter, Nathan, Scott and Lauren; 6 great-grandchildren; brother Robert (Nancy) Howey; sister Fran (Bill) Peterson and many nieces and nephews.

The Rev. Daniel J. Cammarn will conduct a memorial service Tuesday, 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 146 High Street in Wadsworth, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM. Private inurnment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church or Wadsworth Salvation Army.
