Paul L. Reiter, 91, of Wadsworth passed away suddenly Thursday, December 20, 2012. He was born July 5, 1921 in Wadsworth, OH to the late Nicholas and Lulu (Finefrock) Reiter.

Mr. Reiter was a member of the Ridgewood Baptist Church and a long time member of the Akron Baptist Temple Golden Agers. He retired as a mechanic after working 40 years at Firestone. He was a man who was more than willing to share his talents and mechanical ability helping friends and relatives. Mr. Reiter was known as a man of strong faith who loved the Lord.

Preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Campbell, brothers-in-law; William Campbell, Nelson McGuire and James Harmon, grandchildren; Nicholas Reiter and Steven Stirgwolt.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Joyce (nee Britshart) Reiter, children; Tom (Carol) Reiter, Donna (Bill) Stirgwolt and David (Andree) Reiter, grandchildren; Elizabeth (Ed) Tomlinson, Alissa Reiter, Abbey (Seth) Roy, Ben Stirgwolt, Tom Reiter and Danielle Reiter. Also surviving 5 great-grandchildren, sisters; Beulah Reinhold, Dorothy Harmon and Lucille McGuire and sister-in-law, Phyllis (Elton) Boyer.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 26 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Reverend Charles Whitlock officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
