Elbert E. Roach, 84, of Sharon Twp. passed away Monday October 24, 2011. He was born on September 8, 1927 in Cuyahoga Falls, OH to the late Vern and Laura Roach. Mr. Roach was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sharon Center and was a Draftsman and Spec. Writer for the Ohio Injector and later retired from Ohio Pipe and Supply.
He was preceded in death by his sister Louella McCollom and brother Glendon Roach.
Elbert is survived by his wife Margaret “Peg” Roach with whom he celebrated 64 years of marriage, one son Rex (Karen) Roach of Seville, two daughters Luann (Mark) Van Deusen of Wadsworth and Rene’ (Dale) Puskas of Fairfield, CA.
There are 7 grandchildren; Stephanie, Nathan, Heather, Carrie, Russell, Matthew and Trent, 8 great grandchildren and his sisters Gaynelle Demeter, Eileen Farnsworth, Rita Chapman and Darlene Spies and numerous nieces and nephews also surviving.
The family will receive friends 11:00 – 12:00 Noon, Saturday , October 29, 2011 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6462 Ridge Rd., Sharon Center, where funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Judy McGuire officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
