Mary M. Robertson, 86, of Sharon Center, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012.

Preceded in death, one month to the day, by her husband Robert E. Robertson of 63 years. Also preceded in death by her parents Howard and Margaret Texter and her brother Howard A. Texter Jr.

Mary is survived by her children: Mindy (Bob) Kshywonis of Granville, OH, Charlie (Helen) Robertson,Jim (Jenni) Robertson and Nancy (Ron) Love all of Sharon Center, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brother W. Eugene (Lois) Texter and sister Sharon (Howard) Bulgrin.

Mary was a member of West Good Avenue Church of Christ. Graduated from Coventry High School and went to Kent State University where she met her husband. She was a founding member of the Sharon Women’s Club and remained an active member. She and her husband were active in Scouting and loved to camp with their family. She was an accomplished artist, quilter, seamstress, cribbage player and loved to play Pit and Life with her grandchildren. She was a wonderful hostess, mother and grandmother.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 6 from 3-7pm at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, OH where funeral services will take place Thursday, June 7 at 11am.

Our dad was the rock and our mom was the glue that bonded our family. We will miss her!
