Rose M. Rood, 58, of Rittman passed away unexpectedly, Thursday February 26, 2015. She was born in Wadsworth on September 26, 1956 to the late Charles and Dora Lee Workman. Rose was devoted to her husband, daughters, grandchildren and her job as an insurance underwriter. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling and reading.
She was preceded in death by her brother Charles Workman.
Rose is survived by her loving husband Gary with whom she would have celebrated 40 years of marriage on June 21, 2015, her beloved daughters:
Kimberly (Rood) Dobbs of Rittman, Jacqueline (Rood) Bailey of Columbus and Tricia (Matt) Davis of Columbus and her beloved grandchildren: Kaitlin Rose, Tyler, Courtney Rose, Ethan and Krista Rose. She is also survived by four brothers: Bob (Susan) Workman, Bill Workman, Mark (Karin) Workman and James Workman and sisters in law Sherri (Dave) Cook, Gina Rood and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 4-8pm Monday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am Tuesday with Pastor Tony Livigni officiating. Private interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
