Clarence L. Ruch, 91, of Wadsworth passed away Friday, December 2, 2016. He was born March 12, 1925 in Montville, Twp. to the late Ira and Mary Ruch. Mr. Ruch was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ where he sang in the choir and was an usher for many years.

He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of the VFW Post #1089 where he was the Past Commander a member of Wadsworth American Legion Post #170 and a devoted member of the Wadsworth Honor Guard where he served as Chaplain. For many years Clarence organized both the Wadsworth Memorial Day Parade, the Wadsworth Veterans Day Parade and volunteered at Wade Park Veterans Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his wife Vivian, two sisters Nellie and Viola and two brothers Glen and Amos.

Clarence is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Charles and Barbara Ruch of Wadsworth, two grandchildren Amy (Steve) and Brian (Erika)

and three great grandchildren: Harper, Laney and Hudson. There are several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also surviving.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday. Clarence will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery with Military Honors.
