Margaret Ann (Lewis) Russell, 85, of Wadsworth, passed peacefully as she slept, on Monday, March 20, 2023.Born on July 14, 1937 to Edward C. & Margaret K.(Ritchie) Lewis outside Terra Alta, WV. In 1956, she graduated from Carrollton High School. She worked at the Dairy Dream custard stand, her mother’s restaurant, the Dew Drop Inn, and held factory jobs. On December 4, 1965 Margaret Ann became Mrs. Richard B Russell. She worked many years at McDonald’s and was even known as Mrs. Ronald McDonald. “Mom” to many and  “Grandma” to even more, she truly enjoyed being with family and her friends playing euchre, rummy, going to casinos and bingo. She will be missed by; daughter, Shirley Lewis Wadsworth; son, Richard (Karen) Russell Scottsburg, IN; daughter, Mary (Matt) Porter Wadsworth; grandchildren Zachary, Noah, Chloe Porter, Brannon, Blake (KJ) Russell; sister Mary (Bobbie) Gantz, brother Edward C. (Cathy) Lewis Jr, sister Rita (John) Glasure, many nieces and nephews, cousins and treasured friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by son Robert B. Russell.
