Ray Anthony Saniga has left for Heaven after 18 years of suffering.
He was born in Akron, Ohio, on Jan. 22, 1954. He worked for Rohrer Corp. for more than 25 years and loved his job. He was an artist, a handyman and a faithful servant of God. But, above all, he loved his family and offered up all of his suffering for them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Katherine Saniga and many beloved relatives. He is survived by Stephanie, his wife of 32 years; and his children, Caitlin, Chris and Holly. He also leaves behind his sister, Kay Saniga; parents-in-love George and Patricia Janis; and his loyal golden retriever, Shaman.
Calling hours: Sunday 2-6 at Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home, 174 Lyman St., Wadsworth and Monday 10-11am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Rd. Uniontown, to be followed by Mass of the Resurrection there at 11. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ray A. Saniga Memorial Fund at any First Merit Bank
