Franklin Schauwecker, 70, of Norton passed away Thursday, November 25, 2010. He was born August 19, 1940, in St. Mary’s West Virginia to the late Earl R. and Hattie Schauwecker. Frank was a US Marine having served for 10 years and completing this tour of duty in Vietnam and was retired from the US Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Carolyn and Emil Bolas. Frank is survived by his daughter Cyndi Olson of Burien, WA, brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Margie Schauwecker of Wadsworth, and step duaghter Angie Stanley and her children Steve, Carlos, Angel and Brenden. There are his nephews and nieces Gary, Ken, Sherry, Michael, David, Kim also surviving. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 PM on Friday, December 3, 2010, at The Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street, Wadsworth, OH. The familty will receive friends two hours prior to services from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Interment will be in The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Glenn Black, the Staff at Summa Barberton Citizens Hospital ICU and his good friend and neighbor Patty Robertson for all of their wonderful care.
