Sharon S. Schlayer, age 75 of Wadsworth, passed away on December 22, 2022. She was born on April 16, 1947 in Lodi, OH to Wayne and Lois (Berger) Addis. Sharon was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Medina where she served the Lord with gladness. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ronald Schlayer; her daughters, Carol (John) Pfeister, Beth (John) Chiofalo, Amy (the late Ben) Armen, and Gail (Dennis) States; her grandchildren, Abigail, Thomas, Allison, Vincent, Gianna, Ava, Owen (Betsy), Eric, and Natalie; and her sister, Sally Addis. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7 PM on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St, Wadsworth, OH 44281. Funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Kurt Alber officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
