William Charles Schumann, 75, of Lodi passed away on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016. Born Sept. 30, 1941 in Cleveland, OH to the late Walter Schumann and Helen Amersbach, Bill will be missed by his family and close friends. Bill and his former wife, Toni Howe of Barberton, raised five children: John Ali (Melissa) of Phoenix, AZ, William Carl “Chip” (deceased), Mary (Nick Stamm) of Minneapolis, MN, James (Meghan) of Albuquerque, NM, and Mark (Laura) of Wadsworth, OH. He had six grandchildren whom he loved dearly, keeping their photos on his walls and their love in his heart: Samantha, Glen, Belle, Karenna, Clara, and Ronin. Bill is also survived by his loving sisters and their husbands: Catherine Rigda (Jim) of North Olmsted, Doris Mikeo (Gene) of Cleveland, and Marilyn Raeth (Pete) of Beavercreek. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, 11/1 from 5-7pm at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home in Wadsworth. Service will be held at the same location on Wednesday, 11/2 at 11:30am, with burial to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
