David Lee Shafer 76, passed away Tuesday, June 9th with his wife by his side. He was born on November 14, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the Founder and Owner of General Packaging Products in Medina which he started in 1970. He was the happiest when he was boating, flying airplanes (15 over the years) or driving his sports cars with his wife by his side.

He is survived by wife, Nancy (Crittenden), and 4 children. David of Creston, Robert (Kathy) of Clinton, Tracy (Jeff) Bailey of Doylestown, Michael (Sandra) of Concord, NC. Grandchildren Natasha Shafer, Connor, Zachary and Spencer Bailey, Morgan and Nicholas Shafer and Great granddaughter, Charlie.

The family will receive friends 10-12 am Saturday June 13th at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St, Wadsworth Oh where memorial services will be conducted 12 pm with Rev. Daniel Doty.
