Iona Shaw, 90, died August 4, 2013. She was born in Wadsworth, February 9, 1923 to the late Ira and Nola Yoder.

Iona was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was past Worthy Matron of Wadsworth Chapter 102. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her siblings: Arlene Shelley, Bud Yoder, Lois Farnsworth, Dale Yoder and LaRue Minkhouse, she is survived by her husband of 62 years, Merle; daughter Vickie (Brent) Wilcox of Wadsworth; granddaughter Heather Lincecum of Wadsworth; grandson Trevor (Jessica) Lincecum of W. Portsmouth, OH; sister-in-law, Lorene Bixler of Toledo and a host of other relatives.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 6 to 8 PM at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street in Wadsworth, where Order of the Eastern Star service will begin at 7:30 PM. Pastor Daniel Betts will conduct funeral service Thursday 10 AM at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home. Private Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333.
