Donna J. Shields, 77, of Wadsworth passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Born February 10, 1933 in Dairy, PA to the late Floyd and Gladys Pearl (Stiffler) Wilson.
Mrs. Wilson enjoyed baking, crafts, and weekend getaways at her cabin in Southern Ohio. She was a life long member of the Norton Alumni and was employed at the Akron Porcelain Co. for 39 years.
Preceded in death by her husband Raymond Shields, and brothers; Howard Wilson, Charles Wilson, and Floyd Wilson Jr., and sisters; Shirley Mae Sutton, Patricia Myers, and Mary Jane Caskey.
Mrs. Shields is survived by her nephews; Steve (Karen) Shields and Lawrene (Sue) Wilson, and many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, with Pastor Robin Hart officiating. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday from 10-11 AM. Interment 10:30 AM Monday at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
