Richard A. Smith, 98, of Wadsworth, passed away November 6, 2015. Richard was born on March 7, 1917 in Cleveland, Oh, to Gabriel and Katherine Smith.

Richard is preceded in death by his wife Della Natalie Piedilato, of 44 years, and son Richard Smith, Jr., siblings Elinor Kelly, Gabriel Smith, Carolyn Schenk, Mary Smith, Julius Smith, Ralph Smith, Carl Smith, Lillian Young, Evelyn Hunter.

Richard is survived by his children Marlene Mckinney- Powell, Roger Smith, Shirley Dobbs, and Karol Stewart; his grandchildren Marshall Smith , Roger Smith Jr., Malinda Adickes; Glynnis Dobbs-Dunlap, Christopher Dobbs, Vaughn and Gary Stewart and William McKinney, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 1pm at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, next to our mother in Gethsemane Gardens. He was dearly loved by all his family.
