Marilyn Evelyn Smith, 83, of Norton passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017. She was born on June 3, 1933 in Kenmore to the late Franklin and Anna (Collins) Walsh.

Mrs. Smith was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal Oak, and was a member of Viva de Cristo. She was a wonderful seamstress, enjoyed gardening, crocheting and baking cookies.

She was preceded in death by her husband “Lonny” A.B. Smith and grandson Joshua J. Patterson and her siblings:Ann, Francis, Raymond, Jerome and Kathleen

Marylin is survived by her children: Evelyn Smith of Norton, Lynn (James) Hawk of Wadsworth, Brant (Jewellee) Smith of Wadsworth, Karl (Judy) Smith of Norton, Brian (Sherry) Smith of Norton, Angie Davis of Alabama and Mike Perebzac of Norton, her grandchildren: Sam (Megan) Smith, Mindy Smith, Aletha (Pel) Smith, Nathan (Samantha) Hawk, Erik (Meghan) Hawk, Katie (Dustin) Bailey, David Smith, and Rebekah Smith. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Brandon, Dylan, Nyla, Emilia, Sebastian, Dominic, Micah, Madeline, Adalynn, Aiden and Austin.

The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Wednesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3281 S. Cleveland – Massillon Rd., Norton 44203.
