Emerson Dale Stiltner, 71, died February 27, 2015. He was born August 15, 1943 in Fort Gay, West Virginia to the late John and Ethel Stiltner.

A graduate of Wadsworth High School, class of 1961, he retired from Babcock & Wilcox after years of dedicated service. After retirement he and his brother enjoyed helping people out with just about anything they needed help with. Dale loved being outside which always showed in his immaculate lawn. He was a longtime member of the Masonic lodge.

Preceded in death by his sister-in-law Patricia Stiltner and mother and father-in-law Jenny and Leo Ziraks, he is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rasma; sons Gary (Sara) Stiltner and Bret (Barb) Stiltner; grandsons Grant and Garrett Stiltner; brothers Jim and Ron Stiltner; sister Caroline Macerol; brothers-in-law Frank Macerol and Elmer Ziraks; sister-in-law Roseann Ziraks; nephews Aaron Ziraks, Troy and Chad Stiltner, Michael Macerol and Rich Schaffer; nieces Carrie Maltarich, Connie Macerol and Julie Gibbs, great-nieces Cara, Camryn and Carlee Stiltner and Maya Ziraks; great-nephews Clay Stiltner and Niko Ziraks and will be missed by all who knew him and knew they could always count on him for ANYTHING!

The family will receive friends Thursday 4 to 8 PM at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street in Wadsworth, where Rev. Daniel Doty will conduct a funeral service Friday at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wadsworth Salvation Army.
