Douglas Allen Stroh, 32, of Wadsworth joined the Lord on June 4, 2011 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on March 10, 1979 in Navarre, OH, was a graduate of Massillon Perry High School, was currently a Senior at the University of Akron and was the Owner and Operator of PC Geeks on Wheels in Wadsworth a company that he founded in 2005. He was an active member of Downtown Wadsworth, always sponsored the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament and the Haunted Maze.
He was preceded in death by his father Edward Stroh, grandparents Worthy and Sydney Drennen and Karl Stroh and Vera Taylor.
Doug is survived by his fiancĂ© Cyndi Schutte of Seville with whom he planned to purchase a home with and start a family. His mother and step father Martha “Dolly” and William Harless of Navarre, sisters Jennifer Stroh of Justus, Kristine (Adam) Muczynski of Wadsworth, brother Ed (Tina) Stroh of Massillon, niece Natalee Jasinski, nephews Aaron and Alex Muczynski and his two buddies his cat Mr. Jinkers and his dog Gordy.
Doug will be missed by his family, friends, and his cycling buddies. He will be remembered for his zest for life.
The family will receive friends 11:00 – 1:00 PM Thursday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth where a service will be conducted at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray final expenses.
Those wishing to donated food for an after service meal are asked to deliver them to the Wadsworth Knights of Columbus Hall, 148 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth at 12:00 noon on Thursday.
