Larry “Stumpy” Stump
Larry Stump, 70, of Wadsworth, Ohio passed away at home after a brief fight with cancer on June 12, 2018. Born in Barberton, Ohio April 12, 1948 to Russell and Patsy (nee Knolls) Stump. Larry retired from Buehler’s and was an avid Ohio sports fanatic. He was an active Life member of Wadsworth Fraternal Order 2117 and Sons of American Legion Post 170. Larry is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Woodward), of almost 30 years Children: Larry E. (Donna) Stump of MD, Kimberly (Scott) Hernreich NV, Lauri (Eric) Beach of NE, Paula Sponsler of OH, Bobbi Gardner (Tim Dixon) of FL, Julie (John) Carpenter of OH, Grandchildren: Joey (Hope) Sanfilpo of TX, Steven Stump of MD, Ryan Stump of MD, Conni Shabram-Beach of AK, Courtney (KC) Howard of NE, Carol (Kevin) Barton of Ontario Canada, Zak (Ann) McKee of OH, Samantha Damon of OH, Jessica (Matt) Bourisseau of OH, Great Grandchildren; Andrew, Logan, Dominic, Harmony, Zoey, Charlee Opal. He was preceded in death by his parents. Donations may be made to the American Legion Post 170. Family will receive friends 5pm – 8pm, Friday, June 15, 2018 at Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home 174 North Lyman St. Wadsworth, OH. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:30am Saturday, June 16th by Pastor Lauri R Bowman Beach. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery 2580 Romig Rd., Akron OH.
