Arthur G. Switter, 99, of Medina passed away Saturday August 18, 2012. He was born on September 26, 1912 in Barberton to the late William and Emma Switter. Mr. Switter was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from Barth Industries after 22 years of Service. He enjoyed golfing and taking an annual trip to California to visit his niece Linda (Mel) Sherman. He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene Switter one brother Gilbert Switter and two sisters Violet Dunwoody and Gertrude Myers.
Mr. Switter is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Barbara Switter, three grandsons: Dennis G. (Joy) Parado, Dwayne S. Switter and Daniel S. Switter and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday August 26, 2012 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 1:00 – 2:00 PM.
Inurnment will follow at Sharon Cemetery.
