Kimberly Renee Tavenier of Wadsworth, OH passed away on September 30, 2023. Kim fought a vigorous battle with her lung disease. She accepted the challenges and courageously fought without any complaints and always with a smile, beauty and grace.

Kim was born on August 17, 1968 in Atlanta, GA to her parents, Sandra and Harold Ted Williams. She grew up with her 2 brothers in Silver Lake, OH. She graduated from St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron, OH and attended college at the University of Akron. She pursued a life long career in the Hospitality industry, most recently as Direct of Sales at the Double Tree Hotel in Cleveland, OH. Kim received many awards for her dedication in the hospitality industry. Most recently, Kim was awarded the “Supervisor/Manager of the year” by the Ohio Hotel & Lodging Association OHLA STARS of the industry.

Kim, The daughter, The mother, The friend to all and lover of life. Kim lived a life in pursuit of fun and making the world a happier place. A social butterfly, she enjoyed listening to music, spending time with loved ones, caring for her plants and preparing gourmet food. She especially enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Kim was known for her kind giving heart and inclusive nature. She was always active in her children’s life activities; soccer mom, girl scout leader and practiced an open door policy to everyone she met.

Kim is survived by her children, Zachary Vincent Wojno, Zoe Renee Tavenier, and Zuri Rayne Tavenier; her brothers, Michael Brent (Lisa) and Christopher Lyle (Bibiana) Williams; her parents Ted and Sandra (Ray) Williams; her nieces and nephews, Adrianne Williams, Gabrielle Elise Gray, Samuel James Gray, and Luna Williams; her aunt and uncle, Deborah Little and Jimmy (Charlotte) Ray; her cousins, Amanda Bruce, Pam Guinn, Ben Ray, Jennifer Oswalt, Amy Randall and many other friends and neighbors.

A celebration of Kimberly’s life will be at the Ledgestone Clubhouse at a later date.
