Rodney Lee Taylor, age 64, passed away on August 7, 2022. He was born in Wadsworth on May 24, 1958 to William Henry and Dorothy (Carpenter) Taylor.

Rodney was a fan of the Cleveland Browns, enjoyed puzzles and was a dog lover. He was a member of the Eagles, the Moose and the American Legion, and was a proud and loving grandpa.

Preceded in death by his father, William Henry Taylor; brother, Douglas R. Taylor; sister, Pamela Sue Taylor; and stepfather, Brentford H. Grose. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Grose; daughter, Lindsey (Chad) Lewis; life partner, Sandy Cooke; brothers, Richard (Gloria) Taylor, Gregory (Tammy) Taylor and Timothy (Allison) Taylor; stepson, Edwin (Heather) Cooke; stepdaughter, Patricia (Daniel) Kuder; and grandkids, Mason, Elliott and Liam Lewis, Trevor and Chloe Cooke and Cameron and Samantha Kuder.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 13, from 1 to 3 p.m., followed by a Memorial service beginning at 3 p.m., at the Hilliard-Ropsert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. in Wadsworth. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
