Tekaucic, Jim, age 65, of Granger Township, unexpectedly and peacefully passed away on the evening of Wednesday, November 16, surrounded by his family. No funeral or internment services are being held. Jim was preceeded in death by parents Rudolph and Frances (Zobec) and brother Rudy. He is survived by his loving wife Vicky, children Jennifer (Lindsey) Owen, Matthew, Tyler and Rachel and their dogs Diesel, Wagz and Rudy. Survived also by grandchildren Derek and Mina, sisters Joan (Bob) Longberry, Nancy (Jerry) Davis, brother Bob (Peggy) Tekaucic, sister in law Aileen, nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and wonderful neighbors. Jim enjoyed boating, fishing, and all outdoor activities. Jim was a First Lieutenant in the US Army and earned the rank of Captain in the US Army Reserves. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 10th where family will receive friends from 3-5 PM at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association in Jim’s memory.
