Thomas H. Berg, “Griz” passed away Sept. 17, 2017. He was born in Akron, Ohio on Feb. 4. 1946 to the late John and Lena Berg. He lived in Medina County, primarily Wadsworth his entire life.

Tom played football at Highland High School and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed following professional and college sports and especially enjoyed attending sporting events of his 3 grandchildren.

He was a member of Wadsworth Moose Lodge 2070 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Tom is survived by his daughter, Kelly Lingo Ross (Todd) and grandchildren Mia, Clay, and Laney of Wadsworth; his sister Bonnie Zenil of AZ; brothers Richard of FL and Ted of Massillon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Octavio Zenil.

Family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Thursday Sept. 21, at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, OH. Graveside services will be conducted immediately following at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 9560 Acme Rd. Wadsworth, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers family requests contributions be made to the Salvation Army, 527 College St., Wadsworth, Ohio.
