Virginia L. Thomas, 78, lost her long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on October 25, 2013. She was born March 14, 1935 in McFarland, WV. to the late Paul and Florence Lemon. She lived most of her life in Wadsworth. She loved people,working in Bill’s Diner, City Restaurant, and later in life at McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King and Hardees in Rittman. She never met a stranger.

She is preceded in death by husband Forrest (Junior) Thomas, brother Carl (Buddy) and Sister Phyllis.

She is survived by her son Terry (Sherry) and Daughter Bev (Russ) Singleton, grandson Russell, brothers Paul Lemon of Sherrodsville and Robert Lemon of Marshallville, sisters Lorena McCune of Wooster and
Shirley Jaudon of Elyria.

The family will receive friends Monday October 28, 5-8 PM at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home 174 North Lyman St.Wadsworth. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday October 29, 11 AM , family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service. Minister Don Cooper will be Officiating. Interment will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Altercare for the care and compassion they showed toward their mother.
