Marvel M. (Allen) Tighe, 86 of Wadsworth passed away Monday July 2, 2012. She was born July 5, 1925 in LaPorte, IN to the late Merrill and Gladys Kelley.
Mrs. Tighe was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, was a former employee of the Ohio Injector Co., and Seneca Lake Marina. She was a volunteer with the Community Pregnancy Center in Barberton, was a member of the Gift Group at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and had a great love for animals.
Mrs. Tighe was preceded in death by her first husband Dale Allen in 1970, second husband Fred Tighe in 1983 and her stepson Raymond Allen in 1997.
Marvel is survived by her sons Walt (Nancy) Allen of Akron, Mike Allen of Barnesville, daughter Becky Allen of Wadsworth and stepdaughter Beverly (Don) Tripp of Wadsworth. There are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also surviving.
The Family will receive friends 5-8 PM Friday at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth and on Saturday from 9-10 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church 1263 Shannon Dr., Barberton where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Pregnancy Center, 1058 Wooster Rd. N., Barberton, OH 44203. Private interment for the family will be at a later date.
