Obituary
To friends, family and colleagues, it is with deep sadness that we announce that Ginger passed away.
After a fall, where she broke three ribs, she was hospitalized. As time progressed, her health began to deteriorate. She fought hard, but we lost her at 10:00 pm on 16 May 2023.
She will always be remembered for loving and caring for her family and friends, and her fierce protection of animals. She could give Kenny Rogers a run for his money at the casino, and she had a never-ending ability to shop till she dropped (especially if jewelry was involved!). She loved life, and travel, and no matter how many times doctors told her to take it easy; she wouldn’t. She was hard to keep up with.
Mom had a great sense of humor that will be missed.
We know she is at peace in heaven catching up with her parents, her brother Buddy, and friends that have gone before her.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Richard. She was his life, his best friend, and partner in crime.
Her best friend, close confidant, and other partner in crime of fifty-five years, Diane, will miss her presence in her life after such a great friendship. They were so close that the family considered them sisters.
Ginger was a loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother. She is a great loss to her daughter Jackie; her son Richard; grandchildren Chase, Josh, Kodie, Leresa, Jacob, and Elijah. She would have been a great influence on her great grandchildren: Rylee, Alexander, Ayden, Jaxson, Amelia, Archer, and Laylani.
Ginger wanted to be cremated and share a resting place with Richard. For the present; she will be cremated at the end of this week and she will rest at home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to any animal rescue organization in Ginger’s name. Her fur-baby Louie would love this!
The family also asks that you feel free to post any remembrances, photos or stories about Ginger so that we may all share in the wonderful person that she was and those whose lives she has touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held this summer at a time and place to be announced.
