Edward G. Trenta, of Wadsworth, died June 9, 2013.

He was born in Barberton, Ohio to the late Stephan and Albina Trenta.

A longtime member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Wadsworth, he retired from F.W. Albrecht/Acme and worked at Sharon Golf Club. He enjoyed golf, racquetball, handball, working at The Sharon Golf Club and his vacations to Hilton Head Island.

Preceded in death by his sisters Albina, Jennie and Mary and brothers Louis, Frank and Joseph, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debra; brother Tony (Dolly) Trenta, many nieces and nephews and his favorite dog Bentley.

A special thank you to all of the medical staff that helped take care of Ed in the last week and the clergy of Sacred Heart Parish.

The family will receive friends Thursday 6 to 8 PM, Rosary Service at 6:30 PM at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street in Wadsworth. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Fr. Joseph Labak celebrant, Fr. Christopher Trenta con-celebrant, 272 Broad Street, Wadsworth. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Save Ohio Strays, P.O. Box 16, Wadsworth 44282, Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish: Building Fund, 260 Broad Street, Wadsworth 44281 or Medina County SPCA, 245 S. Medina Street, Medina 44256.
