It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the death of Adam Scott Tuma of Lakewood, Ohio, born in Medina, Ohio, on March 9, 1977, who passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the age of 45.

He was predeceased by: his mother, Loralee Tuma, and Uncle George Rubik II; his son’s, Adam Thomas Tuma II (AJ) and Elijah William-Gabriel Tuma (Eli). He is survived by his wife Neysa Tuma; his daughter’s Rosalee (Doc/Rosie) and Issie Bella (Issie); his father, Thomas Tuma; siblings Kristylee Fetzer, June Miller (Chad), Janelle Studt (Joel), Mona DeForest (Tuma), Kathleen Tuma, Nathan Tuma and Zakariah Tuma; and his Aunt Linda Hanslik (Bill).

Adam married his best friend and soulmate, Neysa Tuma on October 27, 2013 and was a loving father. He was a loyal Cleveland Brown’s fan and enjoyed attending The Cleveland Indians games with loved ones and friends. Adam got a kick out of the simpler things in life and that included his cat, Gato, whom he always shared silly anecdotes. Adam loved music and strumming his guitar, making breakfast – his specialty was pancakes – and he enjoyed grilling out, camping, outdoor concerts and the ocean.  Adam was always down to earth, approachable and loved laughing along to a good story or memory.

He served in the Navy from October 1996 to October 2000. He was both a dedicated and loyal employee of Silco Fire and Security for 20 years, where he was both loved and respected by his co-workers and friends.

Some of his favorite childhood memories are those playing with his siblings, swimming in the pool in the back yard, spiderman was his hero, he loved westerns and dressing the part, pan-a-cakes were his favorite and he hated flies. He loved playing the Trumpet with the Cloverleaf Band and was on the Wadsworth HS swim club.

Family will receive friends 5-7pm on Tuesday October 4, 2022 at the HiIliard-Rospert Funeral 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, Ohio where a Memorial service will be conducted at 7pm with Pastor Robin Hart officiating. Inurnment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery 10175 Rawiga Rd. Seville, Ohio on Wednesday Oct. 5, 2022 at 9:45am. Please meet at the Cemetery at 9:30am. Donations may be made to Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home to help defray final expenses.
