Obituary
Our loving sister, aunt, and friend Kathleen (Kathy) VanDuzer, 58, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away Monday, April 5, 2010. She was born in Wadsworth, Ohio almost 59 years ago to David Sr. and Rosemary VanDuzer. She spent most of her adult life in Akron and Cuyahoga Falls. She was retired from Babcock and Wilcox with 40 years of service, this past October. She had many friends there. She was active, until recently, in the Beta Sigma Phi social sorority and the B & W women’s group where her office skills and professional manners influenced many young women’s lives.
Kathy was a skilled artist, loved to read, watch movies, and go to shows. She left quite a legacy of her artwork to her various relatives and friends.
Kathy joins her mother, father, and her brother David VanDuzer Jr., in Gods’ arms. She leaves her brother Tim, sister-in-laws Suzann VanDuzer and Ellen VanDuzer, her nieces Melissa VanDuzer (Brian Cornell) and Tiffany Noriega, nephew Joshua VanDuzer (Julie King), and her two great nephews Rickson and Ryan Noriega, as well as her many friends and relatives.
The family will receive friends Thursday 5-8 PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, where funeral services will be conducted 10:30 AM Friday. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
