Mary was a vivacious, caring Christian, who lived each day to the fullest and truly paid it forward. She was a servant leader, tirelessly contributing her talents and time to many causes over the years including the Akron St. Vincent’s High School Band in the 1950’s, and Habitat for Humanity and volunteer French teacher after her move to Wadsworth in 1970. But Mary’s greatest passion was her work in establishing the Sacred Heart CCD special needs program. She was an active parishioner at Sacred Heart Church (Wadsworth) as a Eucharistic Minister and Faith & Light. She later joined the Prince of Peace Catholic Church community in Barberton.
The family wishes to thank the Hospice of Medina County for the tender care and respect she received from them.
